Recently the Ryder-Cheshire New Zealand committee sent funding to Raphael to help convert a resource centre into a therapeutic centre. It opened in June.
The services offered by this centre are physiotherapy, early intervention, school readiness, assessment and counselling, speech therapy, a sensory room, and a resource room.
It is expected that around 40 children will use this facility every month.
